Ideal for swapping out vertical thermostats with our newly purchased Honeywell RTH2300B1038 5-2 day programmable thermostat that is horizontal.

Doesn't look very good but does the job. Let's face it, it'll be behind the thermostat, but it's just a piece of hard plastic with a few holes in it. Nothing out of the ordinary, don't be disappointed, as I said, it does what it's supposed to do which is to hide any holes from previous thermostats.

I bought my wonderful Honeywell TH9320WF5003 WiFi 9000 color touch screen thermostat here at Revain. Whenever I buy a thermostat, I always buy the matching thermostat wall plate. It is very durable and supports my Honeywell WiFi thermostat perfectly. It also gives my thermostat a more finished or "polished" look.

I bought this trim after it was offered as an accessory to a thermostat I bought. However, the colour/texture match very well, while the holes match perfectly, there are 4 holes for vertical or horizontal mounting (although the nameplate only says one direction up which makes no sense). Regardless of the installation, however, two unused holes remain visible. Will have to return.

Used with thermostat Pro1, color and installation match perfectly. Made for a clean tidy install where damaged wallpaper was visible as the new Pro1 thermostat was smaller than the old one I was replacing. This will work with almost any brand name thermostat as long as it isn't available for your specific one. Only new mounting holes have to be drilled in the plastic plate. Easier and quicker (not necessarily cheaper) than using a crown molding or quarter molding to surround the thermostat.

I bought a Honeywell T9 thermostat to replace in my office. When I removed my old thermostat, I was amazed at the number of holes in the wall. I couldn't patch the holes because there is old wallpaper on the wall. I bought this case and it works great. The Honeywell T9 didn't cover the two side holes on this panel, but it's much better than the holes in the wall. Very easy to install. Simply screw this plate to the wall and then mount the thermostat mounting plate directly onto it.
