Bought this warmer for work to make soup and hot drinks. The urn does its job by heating water and keeping it warm. Now for the problem, if you don't drain the water daily and dry the inside of the trash can, it will start to rust. At my job we have people who work 24/7 so we didn't empty the reservoir just kept refilling it to make sure every shift had access to hot water and that's how we found out about the corrosion problem. Except for this big little urn.

I live in New England and it's a real pleasure to have hot water all day without having to wait. A few things I've learned. If you are using this for Shabbat or Yom Tov, the urn will automatically start boiling again when you add water, so fill it up before lighting the candle. There is only a hand pump in the urn. As another reviewer said, although I find it exemplary in terms of warnings, the instructions leave a lot to be desired. It's like another product engineer with little to no English trying to explain (in the most incomplete way) how to work with the controls. If you just use common sense, you can work.
