Revain - BEST electric frying pan

I already have one of these great frying pans. I ordered it by mistake and returned it with no problems. Revain is the best. Pancakes, steaks and sandwiches with grilled cheese

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

good for the money, well put together and cooks evenly.

My wife likes it. We have fried the chicken several times since purchasing it. It seems to bake very evenly. The only complaint is the glass top and I'm always afraid of breaking it. I used to have one with a metal plate but I guess they don't make it anymore. There is a small ventilation grille on top of the glass, which is not very visible in the photo. Generally very useful. And for the price it's a good buy.

Two blocks last about 5 months in total

Bought two blocks, one was May 5th 2018 and the other May 8th 2018. At the end of August the first one burned down. We thought maybe we were just unlucky and got a lemon. We switched to the second and it only lasted about 10 days. Last night we smelled the familiar smell of a burned adapter. Both blocks faced the same problem. Disclaimer, we used the devices for cooking every day, but our last $9.99 from Walmart lasted at least a year before we switched to this highly rated device. Very…

It worked perfectly. I only had one pair.

I've never used a frying pan - I guess I'm in the minority. I was looking for something compact as it's just my husband and I. It worked perfectly. I've only been eating it for a couple of weeks, but I have fried fish, onion strips, fried green tomatoes, bacon. I'm sure I'm still missing something. In any case, it worked amazingly and the temperatures seem to stay very even. Cleaning is extremely easy. I definitely recommend this product. In response to those who said my legs were giving out…

Only lasted 7 months

Worked well. Seemed a bit cheap feel but what do you expect for the price? Good non-stick surface. We used it several times a week. Last night while cooking dinner it just stopped working. We checked the outlet, let it cool down and tried again - nothing. There was a slightly burned smell at the connection of the pins to the pan. I emailed the manufacturer and gave them the serial number and was just emailed an invoice for $9.99 to ship another one. The guarantee states that shipping is at the…

Save your money and save yourself the hassle

This is probably the worst workmanship I have ever found on an item that is really worth real money. Ignore the rough surface on the inside of the coated pan. The metal "rim" or whatever you want to call that part of the lid, which is set back slightly and conforms to the inside of the pot, is curved and uneven on three sides, so not a design feature. It looks like it was beaten up before being put in the box. One side is straight and fits snugly. Bent parts could be overlooked or even…
