🕰️ Prodyne Contours Pitcher: Timeless Elegance in Off-White Review

Just received the second set of two of these pitchers. My old set is about 3 years old and I use it every day to make and store iced tea. The old ones still work, although I can see cracks that aren't leaking yet and I can't feel the cracks with my fingernail. So I ordered two new ones just in case. I will continue to buy this product in the future. Nice to look at and has a really nice balance knob!

I like the shape and size of this jug. It's hard to find a smaller pitcher, but I needed a short, thick one that would fit under the sink faucet. This is beautifully crafted from clear, durable acrylic that resembles glass but is much lighter and shatterproof. Not for hot liquids like coffee or tea but seems unaffected by hot tap water. It has a classic beautiful shape and works well. As another reviewer mentioned, it really does look like a Kool-Aid pitcher; I was tempted to draw a smiley face

I bought two of these for a kids party I was having. They were perfect and I'm glad to have them in my kitchen for any other parties I might throw. Unfortunately, one of the jugs had a small tear in an inconspicuous place (where the handle connects to the jug of the jug). I was understandably upset, but as I think it was an accident and not a design flaw, I'll be ordering again. My only suggestion is that you order this glass with a rim so that if it cracks you can go back and reorder.

I used to have acrylic pitchers and after a while they don't look good and scratch. This one still looks great, like new after almost a year. It's shaped like a Kool-Aid jar and is lightweight. The material is almost like a wine glass thin which makes it attractive. I enjoy informal settings and it is ideal for breakfast, brunch and any outdoor gathering. This jug has a beautiful, practical shape. It's not too big to sit on a table, it's not easy to tip over, and it won't obstruct the view of others sitting across from you. It has a large capacity and a wide mouth that can easily hold a piece of ice instead of small cubes. The material is lightweight and remains shiny, although some water stains are a little visible.
