DO NOT BUY for sport

I got this a few months ago because I was 5ft and my horse 16.3 hands and when I started using it it seemed great at first. I liked the bag. But I trotted and got into a turn and the stirrup broke and the grip broke. As a result, I fell and immediately returned the pillow. VERY BAD QUALITY, DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Pros
  • Lightweight inner liner provides excellent cushion support for maximum comfort. The contoured design follows the shape of the horse's back to lighten the withers.
Cons
  • Empty

Good quality but could be improved.

I have an 8 year old 16 hour gelding who has some traction and is on the big end of medium sized horses and the girth was too big and I had to add holes to tighten it. But it is very strong, good quality and well made. I've only guided him with a pad and he's slipped back a bit (e.g. second photo) but I'll see how he actually behaves in it.

Pros
  • Black
Cons
  • No Power

Very comfortable!: Tack

What a beautiful trip. I use a saddlecloth under my pillow to keep it clean and fresh. I removed the stirrups to work on the balance and all is well. The girth is odd, so I use regular feathered cotton yarn. My husband burned new holes in the straps, which wasn't easy. My horse is a small quarter horse, 14.2 hands tall, so the girth was too big. I would recommend this condomless pillow if you can try putting holes in the straps and if you can switch to a different spring.

Pros
  • Light, professional saddle pad for horses with breathable, easy-to-clean outer material.
Cons
  • Expensive
