These pliers are very sharp and work great. I've tried a few others in the past that don't cut very well but these are amazing and I'm very happy with them.

They're definitely not "very sharp". I use cuticle trimmers daily so I need them of good quality. These just don't deliver. Not very sharp, with awkward angles, feels and looks cheap. Sad.

The gold paint on it wore off before I even opened the box. The metal looked very jagged and uncertain and I didn't want to use them on my cuticles at all. The packaging was not sterile, so if you decide to use it, be sure to clean it thoroughly before use.

I work in the kitchen so my hands are constantly exposed to heat and fire, acids, disinfectants and frequent hand washing. It dries my skin very much making it difficult to keep my nails looking good and I often struggle with hangnails and flaking cuticles. Ordinary nail clippers don't really cut (ha ha ha) to get rid of dangling nails. They have a sharp point with a sharp cutting blade; I was even able to trim my nail with it (although it's probably not a good idea if you want to keep it going). It runs smoothly and feels good in the hand, although there's nothing special about it. The color is more reminiscent of rainbow gold than the usual stainless steel of most nail tools. These wire cutters are pretty sharp. I find them reliable enough for barbs and such. Oddly, I find them a bit uncomfortable to squeeze and I don't like using them for long periods of time, e.g. B. to trim all my cuticles. I can't explain it, maybe it's the size or shape of my hands. I have several similar cuticle knives with very thin handles and find them more comfortable to use. So nothing wrong with that, just personal preference.

I can't compare this product to some high end wire cutters but it gets the job done and will probably do the job if you don't. use it too often. If you don't use it on the corners of your nails, clip them off and only use on soft cuticles. It's not that my nails are incredibly hard, but I've used them on my nails and now these nail scissors are noticeably dull.
