Not bad catenary, but not perfect. The length looks something like this, a foot or so, but I haven't actually measured it. The main disadvantage is the rigidity of the plastic, or perhaps its size. I ended up having to heat the ends with a lighter to soften them enough to slide over the fittings. Maybe I just got an old one from Revain and the plastic has started to harden. I was badly misled by earlier reviews. I don't know if they recently changed the production of whistles or if I got lucky but these are definitely CHEAP BREAD WHISTLES. I have previously ordered other whistles and received the same poor quality whistles and I really hoped I wouldn't get them this time. Better go to the store and look for higher quality products. However, it also depends on how much power you want to have in your tube. It hasn't had any leaks so far, but it bends very easily and
