These are great for carving pumpkins! They aren't sharp, so fast sawing movements are important when cutting, but the serrated edge cuts well. They are much better quality than other pumpkin carving kits I've tried. I'm happy!

With this set of quality tools, the hard work of carving pumpkins is a lot less of a chore than trying to do it with a fancy plastic set. They made peeling the pumpkin a breeze and it was such a delight that the saw didn't bend. I recommend!

I didn't expect this set to be so big and strong! This is not one of those trinkets that you buy at the store and throw away! Strong, durable, easy to use and can be used for other purposes after Halloween! Its worth it! No more trying to carve pumpkins! My only downside is that I wish it came with a detailing tool!

Haven't used them yet as I bought them after carving a pumpkin this year and realizing I could never carve as well as I do with regular kitchen tools would like. This set is much larger than I expected when ordering. This fillet knife is a double knife. Also, it seems to be much more durable than what you can find in stores. It seems like a solid build and I'm looking forward to using these tools in the fall.

I was impressed with the quality of these tools. They are large and I believe they will last for many years. It's nice to have a big, sturdy spoon scraper to quickly get any mess out of the pumpkin! I also bought a cheap kid sized tool set that came with a small $4 template book from my local big store and it was helpful to have tools in both sizes. I loved having these big ones for larger cuts and small ones for smaller, more precise cuts.

Item as described so of course I'm not deducting a star because the blades are too long. I've used the cheaper Walmart sets which work well with short/thin blades (for cutting detailed designs) but these pens are much stronger and more comfortable to hold. The metal shovel is definitely a step up from the smooth plastic shovels. As expected, you can still bend the blades, but you may have less to worry about them coming loose from the handles due to wear.

The tools are well made. Excellent quality. However, they were too big for me to use. There are no instructions so I may have used them incorrectly. I tried using one with a point (similar to an awl) to mark the pattern. For this purpose it was a bit boring and harder to control since the handle is so far from the top. I tried using a shovel to scrape out the pumpkin seeds and strands from the inside. The teeth are on the sides, not on top. I had to hold my hand at a weird angle and ended up…
