Professional Trimmer 3170 400 Clippers Trimmers Review

I dunked in shallow water - I paid the price. I knew it was a gamble from other reviews - It's funny because "most" (7 out of 8) of them didn't fit my Wahl or Sunbeam trimmers. But one (1) fits. Thus, the processing deteriorated. But I'm not the type to give up, so I trimmed my trimmers (yes, I did metalwork). Then I trimmed (modified), heated and stretched two combs. Now they all fit. But if you don't have the time, tools, or perseverance, you can give them up.

I bought these for the Conair Simple Cut clipper. The combs that came with Conair weren't big enough for my husband's desired length. (Luckily, my first haircut with Conair's biggest comb was in early summer, so at least his head was cooler.) I've searched everywhere to see if Conair has a set of combs, but I couldn't find one on their website. I tried Sally's local cosmetics and they didn't have anything suitable. Good choice and did the job perfectly on an old Conair trimmer with a 1.75 x 1.5 D head (like most regular size trimmers, e.g. election). The numbers are a little hard to read, so the color coding is handy. Cut them out quickly and easily. Sits firmly, does not sag and does not fly away. Didn't clog or break. Have a good haircut.

I lost the #8 I use for the crown that came with my Conair Custom Cut so I searched until I found this advertised set that suits them. . There seems to be some variation in how well they fit the haircut size measured. Most of the guards approach my clippers. Unfortunately it's a hit and miss. I only got them today so I have no idea about the durability. They fit my Conair HC95WV clipper just as well as the ones that came with it, maybe a little tighter. Some here have mentioned that the comb is more flexible than others they've used. Comparing them to the ones that came with my clipper I would agree when comparing the side to side movement. Not suitable for Sunbeam, Oster, Andis clippers, all "A-5" universal attachments. If your clippers have detachable blades, they probably won't fit. The small tab on the back that holds it is 1/4" short of the edge of the blade. Blade heel and 1 3/4" wide.
