😷 Comfortfly Lycra Mask by Professional's Choice - Optimal Fit in One Size Review

I have a draft horse that wears size XL in other fly masks so oversized should have fit but was too small for this style. Just a note on size. Otherwise it's a great mask and I ended up saving it and using the oversized one on another one of my regular horses and it fits great.

Fits perfectly and looks comfortable. He has no problem with me putting it on. No signs of itching or rubbing. Good color for him. The color will fade a bit with washing but still has a rich color. I air dry. There are no traces of thread shedding. Plenty of room for eyes and ears. Protects very well against flies.

The lucra on this product is strong but the mesh around the eyes and ears is fragile and has holes after a week. I have a warmblood/oversize for my warmblood 17.2 and unfortunately the nose area is not big enough and has signs of wear. Good sized ears and throat.

Good mask; this works for trail rides, really helps keep flies off the horse's face and the horse can see well. However, the first one came with an ill-tailored look, and when I contacted customer service about this, they were slow to respond and seemed to evade my request. They ended up sending a replacement but I was annoyed with the time it took and the way they responded to me.

I have a 16.3 Trakehner gelding with a fairly large Warmblood head. Last year I bought him a horse-sized mask from the same brand. It stretches and fits well but the mesh over the eyes could be better and he takes it off almost every day. (Other masks no longer fit him due to age-related cataracts, his eyesight has already deteriorated somewhat, and he hates harder masks). This time I ordered a plus size for him and the mask fits tighter! he hates it It's terrible around his jaw and cleavage…
