🐴 Equine SMX Shearling Cinch by Professional's Choice - Comfort Fit for Western Riding Review

My horse had a girth injury and needed a new soft girth. This garter is so soft and looks so good. It doesn't interfere with their movements at all.

Bought for my daughter's mare who is very sensitive, shows discomfort and bites on her girth (really good mohair) after about an hour on the road. This stand fixed that problem. The last trip takes 5 hours. No problem.

I have been using this brand, professional choice, for over 20 years and am satisfied. I received this harness on 04/03/2018 and on 07/11/2018 I noticed that the fleece/wool was falling apart everywhere. Very disappointed with the quality!

Excellent product. I am replacing a 3 year old Professional Choice Cinch fleece strap (exact same model) that has been wearing out after 3-4 rides a week for those 3 years. My horse really likes the comfort of the fleece compared to other harnesses.

I like these springs because they can be removed and washed. My mare is quite springy, but she tolerates this size more than others when it comes to harnessing. The bad thing is I only get about three years of it before the fleece falls apart and isn't that soft anymore.

Although I'm still giving 5 stars to this spring because it's great and I'll never use anything else, please note that there is a difference between merino wool and lambswool. I bought what I thought was sheepskin based on the description. Now after using it for a while I can tell compared to my other lambswool girth that the one I received is not a lambswool girth. Still, everything seems fine, but now I've overpaid for a merino wool harness.

Well I really liked this spring loaded belt for my sensitive appendix. Great thing was that it didn't rub and stretched much better (it was always tight) until it started to get dirty, I always fluffed it up after every ride but finally got around to it, I had to wash it, it started crusting and scuffing on my horse so I broke down and washed it off.
