Basically they are fine, I mean they seem to be doing their job. However, the flow is much weaker than the previous pair which I replaced with these. It just takes a little longer to fill water bottles or a pot of pasta.

Unfortunately these filters only lasted 3 months, typically 6-8 months. I don't know if it's the filters or my water (the water here is awful) so I ordered direct from GE. Hopefully they will last longer and cost about the same price. I always run a disinfection process before installing new cartridges.

This is a GE branded reverse osmosis cartridge. We have been using this system for a while and there really is no alternative to using brand name cartridges. The nice thing is that it's convenient to have it delivered to your door when you need it, rather than going through the hardware store shelves. I love this shopping!

Not cheap but high quality! Attempted "fake" version can be found - very limited lifetime! Of course it is easy to install/remove. BUT you need to sanitize the system every time you change it, so the component to install the cartridge is trivial (time and waste water dependent!). Instead of just changing the usage time, I started taking a water sample to the local water storage facility to quantify the level. filtration efficiency!

I've been using this system for 10 years now. I've already said my tap water is terrible. In fact, it shows over 520ppm. With these filters and a reverse osmosis filter, the quality is 21 ppm. It's just as good as bottled water. I also use the Zero Water System and the quality drops to zero parts per million. The filter lasts me six to twelve months, depending on how much coffee and tea we drink. Unsurpassed quality and easy replacement. I love value too.

I bought this along with another membrane filter for my system that worked fine but needed replacing. They arrived on time in new condition. I removed the old filters, sanitized the system, and installed the new filters according to the manufacturer's instructions. And that was the last time my system worked. Only lasted 90 days after water tasted awful. You can even see how dirty the water is. By the way, when I first opened it, there was something black on the opening mouth. I don't think they sell a new filter. I got another direct from GE and it seems clean and the water tastes much better. I'm not saying the filter is bad, but everywhere Revain buys they sell recycled filters. You are better off buying from GE and paying for shipping and handling. After all, health is more important.

I was very disappointed with the filter. The protective aluminum seal over the filter was barely attached and broke when I removed the plastic wrap. The water inlets should be hygienic, but unfortunately there were bluish or purple dust particles on the inner walls. We didn't know what to do but cleaned up the dust and installed it as we had thrown away the old ones when they were removed.
