INDIVIDUALLY ADDRESSABLE. You can control each LED individually! Yes, that's right; this is the digitally-addressable type of LED strip. You can set the color of each LED's red, green and blue component with 8-bit PWM precision (so 24-bit color per pixel). WS2812B Led strips are work great with FastLED library. FULL COLORFUL: 256 brightness display and full 24-bit color display. Each 5050 SMD w/ WS2811 build in can have its own color and brightness. You can control each LED Pixel individually and set it to any color or animation you want. CUTTABLE&CONNECTABLE: This WS2812B Pixel can be cut off without damaging the rest pixels. Each LED strip comes with 3pin JST-SM connectors and can be connected end to end, Maxim base on you controller. So you can DIY for length you want. HOW TO GET IT WORK: First, you will need an output is 5V power supply and controller (Both donโ€™t include). Second, Connect Power and Ground from Power Supply. AND Connect Ground and Control (data) wire to whatever you are driving the string ESP8266 or any controller. SAFETY & EASY INSTALLATION. Does exactly what I want. Automated seasonal decorative lighting

We put a garland on the arch between the dining room and the great room. It used to be decorated with simple Christmas garlands. With an LED strip, an ESP8266 E12 microprocessor, smart Arduino programming, and a wireless connection to our home security/automation system, we now have seasonal decorative lighting. Poorly done quality control

product not in retail packaging didn't work at all. After troubleshooting, it was found that several LEDs with onboard WS2812B controller data link were open or not working. This results in data not being sent sequentially to the next WS2812B LED. You get what you pay for. Go to a reputable seller with good quality LED strips. You may have to pay a little more, but this device wasted my time. This block is returned. I am also writing this review for two other WS2812B LED strips that I haveโ€ฆ

Excellent led strip but received a broken one which Revain replaced

The led strip works great and the color is very accurate. I had to return the first one that was delivered because it was defective. I plugged it in to test and it started smoking around the LEDs. There must have been a short somewhere, so there's questionable quality control in there. But the replacement I received worked great and had no issues with it. I haven't had any issues with the adhesive that other people have mentioned in the reviews but will update this if I notice it peeling but at

Good deal for the price but rather cheap quality

LED strip suitable for small projects and accent lighting. It's a good buy for the price (and shipping from China doesn't take long) but the recommended power supply doesn't adequately power the entire LED strip. If you're not using too much white light you'll probably be fine, but even if you're using a 5v, 25amp power supply, when I've illuminated the entire strip with white light, the last 40-80 LEDs are on still present in the strip experienced a harsh red offset because the current was not

Great addressable LEDs but low density per meter

These are excellent addressable LEDs that work very well with the Arduino FastLED library. They are cheaper than some other addressable LED strips because the LED density is only 30 per meter. However, if you have a project that doesn't require high density LEDs, this tape will save you a few bucks. For example I used them in a 3D printed drone gate that diffuses the light from each LED and just thought it looked great. In terms of usability, this is an ordinary LED strip. There are solderโ€ฆ
