Good. for motorcycle & power sports

Good. Sporty handling, good braking with a slight dive. Poorly. Recommended spacers lower much more than stated. Low ground clearance for lifting. Very hard ride. At first the controls were fun, but after a year everything was gone. suffering on long journeys.

  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • High price

The difference is amazing! Easy to install for your middle gear

I installed these on a 2012 Road King to lower the front wheel (21" wheel) and stop the nosedive. The difference is amazing! Easy installation for your middle gear. I used 2 preload pads as instructed and am very happy with them. I'm 190 and I usually ride solo and the ride is firm but not harsh. I can't say enough how much this change is worth. Do that!

Good product ! for part

If you want your bike to ride perfectly, this is the way to go! I bought a cheaper set of progressive lowering springs and the ride was terrible! I still wanted a lowered optic with a 21" front wheel, so thought I'd give this single tube option a try. I am very happy with the ride and handling and even managed to get that great ride with the 2 inch drop. I wanted. It was easy to install and follow the instructions to ensure you only use the recommended amount of oil as you don't want to over…

What is the difference - Chassis

I drive a 2006 HD FLHTCUI and have waited until last year 2018 to upgrade to these. They do everything Progressive says. In combination with the 944 series rear shock absorbers/springs, the ride quality is noticeably improved. It's under braking and at highway speeds that I notice the biggest improvement. The nosedive under braking is all but eliminated, and those tooth-smacking highway bumps are now only mildly annoying and keep my butt in the saddle. Your driving experience may vary, I didn't

Progressive monotube kit.

Not satisfied with the standard ride on my '08 Harley Street Glide, I ended my research with this kit. I ordered a "downgrade" version. It was pretty easy to install and all you had to do was take things apart and put them back together. I used the service manual and the internet. The configuration of the springs and spacers used depends on the weight to get the correct preset. I didn't want to do this job twice to make adjustments. I read and read. So, I'll give you the benefit of my research…

I wish I had done this when I first bought the bike.

I have a 1996 Ultra that was in dire need of a fork oil change. The front of my bike had no shock absorbing properties at all. Needless to say it was an uncomfortable trip for me and my girlfriend. I have a real problem with the outdated oil dampening system Harley uses in their forks. In 1996 I can forgive them but they still use it. I think it was normal when only old people rode Harleys, but today's bagger riders are younger and ride harder. Are they really still selling 20,000-50,000 bikes…
