I needed a hex head screw for woodworking and it was great. The company provided what I wanted and I use them all the time when the eights are too big. Will order more from Hillman when I need them

I didn't know this when I bought them but there are only 100 screws in this package which according to my kitchen scale is only about 5 ounces. Thought I'd buy a £1 box at that price which would be a good deal. At this price, these screws would be worth nearly $17 a pound.

Happy with this product. I use them for everything. Not just drywall. Also, I've found them to work great with cheaper woods like pressboard and waffle board as they don't split those woods. However, I have also used them on wood treated outdoors. They are very sharp on the tips so they do no harm. They also go well through hard plastics.
