Much better than my Riccar

I got my vacuum cleaner today, maybe a bit premature to write this but I cleaned my whole house and I love it! I bought it to replace my Riccar Prima after the engine burned out. First, I should never have had an $800 Prima if I could get my hands on it. The suction power is much better. The furniture nozzle is ideal for animal hair. The ONLY thing I would change is to make the hose a bit more flexible as it is stiff. Longevity after extended use in our large busy household may change my mind…

Very difficult to maneuver

I bought a vacuum cleaner from Severin which I really liked but I needed a strong brush so I gave it to my daughter. This vacuum cleaner is powerful, but very heavy and manoeuvrable. The hose is really hard and the weight of the vacuum isn't the best combination. A bit confusing is the brush off button at the top of the hose handle and at the bottom of the brush - for safety reasons I think? I received an extra head not listed, just a mini stair brush. It's feature-packed and a great vacuum…

Good suction power the best of vacuum cleaners

Had to swap for Electrolux 30 years ago. All good things must come to an end. Tried Kenmore, very heavy and awkward to use. Bought Prolux with power supply. Slightly heavier than my Electrulux but about the same size. As other reviewers have pointed out, it has very good suction and appears to be well made. Bags have to be ordered and are a bit expensive. So far the only negative issue that others have mentioned is that it is very difficult to remove the top of the adjustable bar linkage grip…

Don't waste your time

After extensive research for a vacuum that can clean hardwood, tile and carpet, I had high hopes based on the reviews. When I took it out of the box and put it on the floor, the lid broke. I faked it and told myself I could live with it, but every time I hit a bump or dropped it on the floor it just popped out of my hands. Needless to say I was debating whether or not to return as it was very frustrating having to be gentle with the vacuum cleaner as it was being dragged around the house. The…

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE for Canister

I would give this vacuum cleaner zero stars but that's not an option. I own a cleaning business and always used Kenmore canister vacuums until Sears sold the Kenmore to Revain a year ago. The product sold out quickly, so I looked for an alternative. I've already tried Orek and Dyson. I had high expectations for this vacuum cleaner. It's absolutely awful! It's so hard and bulky to start with. When you remove a piece of carpet to put a wooden floor on it, you have to use your hand. I switch all…

Junk - DO NOT BUY

When I first received this little vacuum cleaner I was very pleased. Unfortunately, there is a fatal error. Hoses are not clamped! The nozzles will not detach from the hose handle and the powerhead will not detach from the end of the hose. As soon as you put a long tube on the hose handle, it's done. Once you put the powerhead on the end of the tube, that's it. They never come off. Trying to reach customer service is a nightmare, even if the vacuum is still under warranty. To make matters…

TO UPDATE! Great cleaner, great service!

I originally wrote a bad review because the vacuum cleaner didn't arrive within the promised delivery time. It finally arrived today (4 days after the promised delivery date) and I have to say it's a great vacuum cleaner at a really great price. I've always used Kenmore, but this one puts Kenmore to shame. Very powerful, lightweight and easy to use. Almost half the price of a comparable Kenmore vacuum. If you like canister vacuums these are the best I have ever had and have used many vacuums in

I am very happy!

Well, today I got a new vacuum cleaner. My little old Eureka Mighty Mite blew up after almost 20 years so I had to break down and buy a new one. Well, I didn't want to spend stupid money on a new canister vacuum, so I bought a stick vacuum with a detachable nozzle hose. BIG MISTAKE. It's a bagless model, which sounds good and eco-friendly, but that's bullshit. You have to clean it all. Single. Time. And the bottom of the bin pops open with a vengeance so all the dust and dirt is thrown…

Fine. to vacuum cleaner

This vacuum cleaner has good suction power. It reminds me of an upgraded wet/dry vacuum. Connections are inaccurate. To disengage the power head, you must bend down and hold down the plastic button and slider while attempting to pull the power head out. It takes too much time and effort. The bare floor mount simply slides over the post without locking. So you need to make sure the angle is right before pushing them all the way in. The grip is of poor quality and has a switch for the powerhead…
