Unfortunately I sent it back as it was much heavier and stiffer than I expected. Not for a backpack and not for carrying at any distance.

I just received this tripod so am testing it to see if I keep it. I think it's a great compact folding tripod, easy to use and very durable.

Very good quality and very compact size when folded. The only reason it gets 4 stars is the price! I went with another brand that was almost as good but a lot cheaper. The price is too high, but the quality is very good.

Here you get what you pay for. This tripod is incredibly well built and intuitive. It deploys very quickly, can accommodate many different mounts, can be hung for low profile shooting, each leg can be used as a monopod and folds very compact. I didn't want to spend half as much and not take proper care of an expensive lens. This is an exceptional device!

I am not a professional photographer. I had several Nikon DSLRs and several compact cameras. About 15 years ago I bought a 3 piece Manfrotto tripod with my first DSLR. It was a great tripod and still is. It was solid with no issues, but it's quite large and heavy so I rarely took it with me on trips.
