Waste of money, better off without

This propane torch was a total letdown. As my tests showed, it didn't have enough power to handle even the smallest weeds. I was hoping to make quick work of the weed problem in my automotive garage, but this tool was a complete waste of money. The only positive thing I can say is that it's lightweight, but that doesn't make up for its lack of effectiveness. Save your money and look for a different weed burner.

Great price for a year round tool

This is my first flamethrower and for the price let me tell you I'm a big fan. It works very well. We only used it on one of the lower settings (see video). Melting large piles of snow wasn't very good, but we certainly didn't want it for that. If you plan to use this for snow, we'd recommend going on one of the higher settings and just run longer than we did. We plan to use it to clear weeds from our sidewalks and driveways. Electric ignition and longer range make this a major upgrade over big-store standards.

Small improvements like electric start, easy access to burner wand controls and an overall ergonomic and efficient design make it easier to use. The 10-foot hose provides enough length for most driveways, and connection to a 15-pound propane tank allows for long weed cooking sessions. For larger jobs, this is much more efficient than the smaller options that rely on a 1-pound disposable propane tank. Pros: - Instant push button electric start - a nice upgrade. - Easy access to dial controls.โ€ฆ
