7 color user-selectable background illuminations (red, blue, green, white, yellow, orange, and violet) with adjustable brightness for day and night - with independent dimming of dial and pointer. Configurable "High" and "Low" warnings using three on-instrument-face buttons. Pro-Control output enables a 1.5 amp load to activate a relay and trigger your choice of warning lights, external buzzers, fans, pumps, or features such as water/meth/nitrous injection. Features a peak recall function, which enables the user to review high gauge readings. The highest reading will be stored by the gauge until it is cleared. Solid-state data acquisition grade sending units provide unmatched gauge accuracy and withstand the harshest environments.

Accurate and Reliable Temperature Gauge

This automotive temperature gauge accurately reads and displays the temperature making it a reliable tool for monitoring engine health. The gauge is easy to install and fits seamlessly within the car's INTERIOR .The sleek design adds style to any car's dashboard. The design flaw of the minimum setpoint is undocumented.

ATTENTION! Nothing in the documentation talks about this little fact, but you may run into a problem with this gauge. From the looks of it, the High Set Point, while adjustable anywhere on the dial, is rated for at least 175 degrees. If you have a remote oil cooler like mine and are not seeing temps above it at the outlet, this gauge will NOT cause mass to turn on your fan. This information came directly from Autometer after I received two apparently faulty sensors. I'm rating the gauge 1 star…
