    This is now my favorite hat.

    This is a summer weight, but I would still go with something lighter for the summer. He's really handsome, he has a beak long enough at the back to cover his neck and protect the copper. The beak is wide enough to exercise. And it's light enough to roll up and fit in your pocket.

    • It is well made and fits well, not made in China but from the Dominican Republic. Very close to the original military version
    Cons
    • Bad copy of the real one. A little undersized. Bill is quite small. Useful, but definitely not military.

    Bob Dole is a little upset

    Not bad, but not great either as a lot of the seams were loose and had to be sorted out. I don't think this hat will last very long. Luckily we only need this for cases so it will work.

    • The shorter beak makes it easier to use scopes on my rifles. This hat is very comfortable and looks well made.
    Cons
    • Size XL was small, I gave it to an 8 year old and it fit well. Differs at least a size or two, very cheaply made.

    much loved hat of another brand

    Husband loves the hat. He replaced a worn, well-loved hat of another brand, but in fact he likes this hat more than the previous one. He'll wear it for years, I'm sure.

    A little light in my review.

    I came in a plastic bag and was crushed. It seemed a little light for what I expected. My suggestion is if you want it stiffer take an iron and press down to shape it or add some starch but again you run the risk of discoloring it.

    • I ordered two of these and found that they are not the same size. One fits perfectly, the other is a little roomier.

    Good hats: my review

    Bought two, one much smaller than the other. Otherwise a very nice design. This is due to the lack of a steel button that will burn the scalp if left in the sun and placed on the head.

    I buy them by the dozen and wear them until there's nothing left. My favorite hat. It reminded me that I need to buy more. Not exactly like my old OG-107 PC, but pretty close. I have a big head and the XL fit perfectly after a wash and dry..

    Just a normal review from me

    The material is very thin and runs small. I also bought KBETHOS from this site which I was more than happy with, it all depends on the size of your melon. I wear a 7 5/8 so I went with MED. This manufacturer should be great. In general there is nothing to complain about, but nothing special to write about.

    • It's too big for me, but a small one would be too small. I simply glued some terry cloth strips into the band.

    • The product may not be suitable for people with sensitive skin due to the abrasive fabric.

    Fur material is good for me

    This BDU patrol cap is made from the same pattern as the BDU GI cap. However, the material appears to be quite fragile. Unlike the GI hat, this is a single layer fabric - I can actually see light through! So I would call it a lightweight fabric but without the ripstop pattern. Great value but we'll see how it holds up.

    • The size is a little tight. The head is 22 inches and a large one was ordered. It was necessary to order x-Large.

    Not the same as military style BDU caps.

    I'm used to BDU hats that I can find at military stores that have an inner layer and an outer layer that help keep the hat's shape than inner layer is slightly smaller than outer layer, creating a rigid structure (does not round at the top fillet of the cylinder). Also, most military grade BDU hats are made from 50% poly, 50% cotton, and ripstop poly. These are single ply cotton. They should fit most people, but if you're looking for military-style BDU hats, keep looking.

    Not bad, but not great either.

    This patrol cap is appropriate for the role. From the outside it looks great and definitely doesn't lack craftsmanship. They are more like film or ceremonial props than field uniforms. The cover I received was made in the Dominican Republic, which makes me doubt the slogan "PROPPER: a battle proven brand". a little bit to see that the actual patrol caps issued to US military personnel are made by SEKRI Industries which are based in Kentucky.     I usually wear a baseball cap but when I'm at shooting competitions sometimes the fields get in my way. I wanted a shorter brimmed cap so I took a closer look at this one. Short story: good quality, odd size.
