These are excellent roof rack pads that are easy to install and work well. They are soft but durable. They protect both your roof and the item you are carrying. They are great for carrying a kayak, surfboard, kayak or any other long, flat item. I highly recommend these roof rack pads!

These are good soft roof bars with a wide strap to attach to the car. When not in use, they fold in half and the strap loops through to keep organized. It also comes with kayak mounts to easily attach the kayak to the car. This is a good portable system that sets up quickly and makes it easy to transport the kayak. Highly recommended.

These roof rack covers were just what we needed to protect our vehicle when transporting our kayaks. They are thick enough to provide excellent protection and the strap system is very easy to use and remove. The good thing is that they are removable and adjustable so we can easily put them on any car we take. The material is durable and well made. The straps are tightened very tight and just go through the top of the car door. Much easier to use them than setting permanent ones!

Although additional straps were included, the main strap was long enough for my Highlander. doors. The latch hardware is all-metal and spring-loaded, so you can just push it into the auto-latch. Unless you're a very tall person, it won't hit me in the head, and I'm 5'10", but I can't see anything. Probably this unit doesn't want to cause any problems! The pad height is about an inch higher, too as my factory roof rack so I don't have to remove it to install these pads 👍

Roof racks are not installed on my car so they are definitely a lifesaver. We recently started kayaking and with our newest SUV they scratched the roof of the car, even a bit underneath.
