I bought the king-size cover as our cat entered final stage of kidney failure and lost control. Overall, I had about a dozen urinations. Most of them I discovered quite soon after, a few of them sat a while, one of them for several hours. In each case, my cleanup procedure was: (a) wipe the area, (b) dilute the deposit with water, (c) gently wring the area, (d) generously apply Isopropyl alcohol, (e) gently wring the area once more, (f) let the area air dry (rubbing alcohol evaporates quickly).
