I bought these to accomodate some newer laptops with a webcam and a facial recognition camera right next to each other. Half of the buttons were broken. When you try to "close" the cover by sliding the magnetic button the whole thing would slide on the glass screen. The button did not slide smoothly. The button is not captured except by magnetism. Pretty much worthless for this use. I cannot imagine it working any better on smaller devices such as smartphones, etc.

I like to dial into video conferences ahead of time, but don't like the idea of the cam showing my space before I'm ready. This allows me to remain private until I'm ready to reveal. I also like that this is discreet vs. paper over the camera which draws attention to it.The only con is that I found it a little hard to position as it's very tiny. Some form of applicator would be nice.

The glue didn’t stick, seemed to be old or left in intense sun. Didn’t work, felt down after a couple days May not guarantee complete privacy against advanced surveillance techniques.

The covers last about three months on my tablet, which rarely gets stuffed in a bag and jumbled around with other stuff. After having two let go, I'm switching to another product. These silver ones have stayed on my phone and laptop for nearly a year so far.

Not for use with high-traffic electronics. Magnet cover falls off easily. Product does not maintain grip to device if met with any resistance.

Purchased these after the ones from ProTech Privacy would not stay on my phone or tablet. These are flatter so sliding phone and tablet in and out of handbag pockets and tablet case haven’t knock them off. To be fair, I haven’t had a problem with the ProTech Privacy one on my laptop.

First one broke literally as I was taking it off the card backing. These couldn't possibly be lower quality. May attract dust and debris over time!

Very happy with this product. It seems better than the Unitedtime brand I was using as the adhesive is stronger and the amount of surface area to adhere is larger as the ring is thicker. It fits the iPhone X perfectly allowing FaceID to still work while the front facing camera is covered (FaceID does not use the front facing camera) and the ring fits perfectly in-between the FaceTime sensors (install encircling speaker grill).
