The umbrella was just what we were looking for and is sturdy. I have not tried it alone but recommend purchasing an umbrella holder for the sand. My disappointment lies in he lack of timeliness and customer service during shipping. It took over a month with numerous delivery dates being missed. My recommendation is to call regularly to ensure it is delivered.

This is a terrific beach umbrella and hat is the heavy duty style that will stand up against the wind with proper anchor. Be sure to get an anchor.

Our first time using our umbrella we had a hard time getting the holder into the sand. Once that was done, the umbrella fit nicely into the holder. We did notice that the flaps on the umbrella made a lot of noise with the wind. Other umbrellas that did not have these flaps fared better for trying to talk. Overall, the umbrella did very nicely our first time out.

This was easy to set up and carry to/from beach. The anchor wasn’t the best and actually this flew right into the ocean once. I would prefer an anchor that didn’t have all blades facing the same direction (they line up when unfolded). Did survive most wind, but after coming up I was worried to use it as it’s pretty sharp.

Would have thought for the price it would have steel bows but no it has fiberglass and they do not hold up in the wind the least little wind it folds over itself , may be fine for the lake or pool but does not work on the beach ! Do not buy

Very satisfied, I even bought a second for the rest of the family. The pole is wood the supports are plastic of some kind but very thick. I don’t know that I’d call it high wind proof but it’s definitely heavy duty. The carry bag could be a bit longer, the end of the umbrella sticks out. Overall very happy but kinda wish I bought one with metal ribs.

Just got this umbrella for the upcoming soccer season. Easy to set up. I’m excited to use it. Great umbrella for the price.

Perfect umbrella for Lido Beach (SRQ). Not extremely windy but enough to draw attention. I live on the beach so my umbrellas are up roughly 4 to 5 days a week and I use the Augbrella to anchor them. Typically I'll destroy a cheapo in about 2 months. This one is still like new after nearly 6 months.

So far the wind hasn’t beaten us yet with this awesome umbrella. It is very close to the umbrellas we have rented in the past.

This is the easiest , sturdiest, lightest wooden umbrella ever. It comes with a carrying case that is roomy and fits on your shoulder. It doesn't blow away, even when the rest of the umbrellas on the beach are. Super happy with my purchase!
