This scratch guard works very well. We have 2 medium sized dogs that have ruined doors in several rental properties over the years. These protectors hold up well and prevent damage from scratches. The included velcro is very strong and I see no problems keeping the protection on the door for many years. The size is just right for us. I highly recommend this item/seller

It might help someone but not me. The velcro doesn't stick well and when I tried to remove it it peeled the paint off the door. I wish it came with command strips or something so I don't have to buy it separately. Also, my dog sees that there is a gap between the guard and the door, so he scratches even more trying to take it off. I live in an apartment so I was hoping this might save doors and money.

We have just had two little puppies and one room leads to a small patio. During housebreaking, the puppies committed to scratching the door when they needed to go outside. Well, we didn't want the door and paintwork to be damaged by constant dog claw scratching, so this worked perfectly! The glue works great, I've been using it for two weeks now. It is thick and definitely protects the door. I will be more for the sliding door and front door

Very happy with this product...the plastic is thick but pliable and can be cut with sharp kitchen scissors if needed. I didn't cut a hole for the doorknob at first, but after my dog scratched the exposed spot one afternoon, I realized it was better to do so. It was easy to take off and put back on! courting! The included 3M adhesive dots attach easily and hold them in place without ruining the paintwork. I'm so glad I found a solution that keeps my door from collapsing!

I've tried all the self-adhesive door protectors, none of them protect the door from scratches. And it's not like we have a big dog, I have a shih tzu and he worries when we go to work and scratches the door and ruins the paint. This protector is the only one that really works! It is made of plastic, rigid and durable. It's not flexible so don't expect it to follow the contour of a door, but a dog's claws won't go through it! Perfect ! I have now ordered more for all doors

I have a Siberian Husky who is basically a house dog and always wants to come back as soon as he goes to the bathroom. He broke the door lock and part of the front door and the door to my bedroom. I repainted both doors and put in a new molding and it matched the door perfectly. I also positioned the velcro so it can be moved along the door skin or just above the door. The only thing I would like is all white or clear velcro and no black. I ran out of whites and had to use blacks and they don't
