Works great but quality is lacking

Works great, but the quality leaves something to be desired. The thread came off relatively quickly. More effective measures must be taken. Especially for the price.

Advertised as leather more like leather and I think suede

Although it matches my hood well it did catch fire or start to smolder and smoke just from slight ones Sparks even when grinding. Advertised as leather, more like leather I think suede. I do not recommend this product to anyone who actually makes a living from welding.

If you want your welding hood to sit low, this is it.

If you like the welding hood low it's a little stiff and keeps the hood up so the screen stays just above eye level. I fixed it with two embossed cuts. Otherwise it's a great durable rig, the leather is good quality and the mounting hardware is a great rig with no sticky goo.
