Fresher than bee soil!

I can only say wow. Regular bushings are made of rubber, new ones are designed to yield. It's hard plastic and a definite upgrade that gives the car super crisp shifts and a nice shift sound. Full Disclosure I also replaced my U-joint while I was there. The repair takes some time, I don't think I could have done it if I hadn't already replaced my diff.

Much better than the original

Installed this on my wife's 2005 Subaru Baja Turbo and not only did it fit perfectly and was easy to install it will probably last the next 200,000 miles and then some. Much better shift stability. In combination with the new shift linkage, the car feels like a new STI. You won't be disappointed if you replace it and the clutch together.

WILL NOT FIT 1999 Forester!

I should have listened when Revane told me "This won't fit in your car". It's not like this. The lower half where the bar connects to the drive train is fine and frankly very high quality. But the top sleeve under the stick is nowhere near the same size. For some reason there are at least a few answers and reviews here that say they fit. Anyone who says they fit their Forester is talking nonsense. This is only part of the Impreza/WRX. However, I don't shoot stars for myself to screw up. I used…

Why pay twice as much for Cobb/White products?

Get the same materials and results as much more expensive products! Bend the urethane a few degrees to align the fasteners with the factory mounting holes. I call it a global problem no matter what brand you buy because I've bought several different ones over the years and almost always give up in frustration before putting the second screw in. Get ready for the good. fight but the result is worth it!

2002 Impreza Estate

I installed this on my 2002 Subaru Impreza. First, the quality is great and it comes with everything you need if you haven't researched how to do it. But be careful. If you don't remove the drive shaft, it will take time. I did this work with the drive shaft and had to remove the heat shield and brace and install it just below the bushings. That took me about 4 hours because the holes had to be recut because the previous owner twisted the original screws in the rear bracket. All in all it was…

Good solid bushings

I installed this on my 2010 Forester 5mt even though the install manual said it wouldn't work. Lately I've been missing shift gates due to worn bushings and this has noticeably improved shifting accuracy. This made my switch a bit more angular and it also increased the noise a bit. It doesn't really matter, although after about a week I don't notice it anymore. A month later it's still working great. The rear pillar was quite difficult to install. The surface where the rear mounting bolts mount

My rear hub needed some trimming

I'm not sure if anyone else had the problem but the shape of the top of the derailleur hub didn't allow me to line up the bolts. Even pushing this thing with a lot of force after aligning one side didn't give me the room I needed to get the screws straight. I ended up taking a dremel up and sanding it down about 1/4" to fit. After that it fit perfectly and everything went back together. all the difference in the world and fitting a shorter front derailleur from the 2.5RS into mine Forester 99…
