Works perfectly. - Protractor

This unit works great for the price and for my application, but it would be nice if it came with a user manual or at least an instruction manual. It arrived incorrectly calibrated and it took me a long time to figure out how to calibrate it to be accurate.

Inconsistent Accuracy

The device had slight play in the hinge or hinge, so the accuracy deviated by a few tenths of a degree each time and I need precise accuracy for my projects. Went back and tried another one. Probably good for general carpentry or painting.

Works well with measuring and marking tools

Used to assemble a new miter saw. Worked very well for this purpose and will work in the future to find cutting angles. Beautiful and easy to use and read. I liked that the set includes a pencil sharpener, a nice addition. I don't expect to need another one but if anything happens I will buy it again. Recommended, very satisfied

Doesn't work as expected.

Doesn't work right out of the box. I knew something was wrong when a simple 90 degree angle didn't show up in the 90 degree configuration. Angles jump from 2 to 700 degrees and everything in between? Movement of the element causes the reader to turn on and off. Sometimes buttons; how on/off works and sometimes not. There are many positive reviews but I cannot confirm my purchase.

Angle measurement only

The product measures angles from 0 to 180 quite well. It comes with a second battery which is good as the battery in the device was dead. I bet that's a common story and that's why they include a second battery. My advice: send the angle viewfinder without a built-in battery. The set includes a carpenter's pencil and sharpener, a nice touch. My read/usage scores are low because left-handers are a bit uncomfortable to use. Your design can use both "left-hand" mode and "compliment" mode (where…
