Interferes with Bluetooth for my old Pioneer 939

I liked it because I still wanted the ability to stream music to my old Hi-Fi and the price was perfect. As soon as I connected it to my Pioneer SX-939, there was an intermittent electrical hiss, almost like trying to tune into an AM radio station. In my case it wasn't completely quiet, but it was very annoying to hear music with this sound through the speakers. I had to return it and now I may have to spend even more money to see if a higher quality product fixes this issue.

Pros
  • Signal converter
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Does the job perfectly

Easy installation, did what it was supposed to do. The Bluetooth feature was a bit silly as it initially defaulted to Bluetooth and I couldn't get it to receive an optical signal until I forced the Bluetooth connection and then manually disabled it. But after that everything went like clockwork. I got my 20 year old Pioneer receiver up and running again with this new generation of TVs that only have optical audio out. A much cheaper option than using a wireless audio system that sounds like…

Pros
  • Signal components
Cons
  • Something else

Works very well

I have a good quality but old stereo and wanted to connect it to a new Samsung 4K TV. This closed the gap by providing a way to convert the TV's fiber optic audio output to my RCA inputs on the stereo. It took me about 10 minutes to figure out all the TV and stereo settings and this Prozor device perfectly bridged the gap between digital and audio. It has the added benefit of having Bluetooth built in so I can now pull music from my iPhone, connect to the system and play content from my library

Pros
  • Industrial electrics
Cons
  • Can't remember
