🔍 K&N Premium Oil Filter: Engine Protection for CHEVROLET/GMC/BUICK/PONTIAC Models Review

I ordered five filters for my Rodeo along with a replacement shift knob and all six items were damaged. Don't risk your truck by mounting damaged filters on it.

These are very good filters at a very good price. No, these are not K&N oil filters with a wrench on top, so you still need a filter cap to remove/install. But that's the real deal.

I use this filter on a 2007 Buick Lacrosse with a 3.8 liter V6 engine. I also use this oil filter on my 2005 Chevy Silverado 4.3L V6. This oil filter easily withstands a service interval of 6-8 months. That's impressive for a sub-$6 oil filter. Revain allows me to do a premium oil change using a good quality fully synthetic oil and a premium oil filter for about $28.

I like this oil filter very much. It feels better than FRAM filters and is cheaper to buy here than in car chains. There is a white version of this filter, they are the SAME filters except the white one has a screw on the end to tighten it. I got this one because oil filters only need to be hand tightened (if you have enough grip) and it was cheaper without the nut on top. I will definitely order another one for my next oil change.

I've used a few of these in my '08 Grand Prix V6 and so far so good. Very high quality filters, additional filter material and inner parts made of metal. They are a good weight, heavier than your base oil filter on the lower shelf. They are very cheap here at Revain and are the same as if they are no smaller than the average filter but work better. K&N is the recognized leader in oil and air filters. The only other air filter I'd like to have is the AFE Pro Dry S, but that's not the product we're reviewing. K&N has a "Gold" series oil filter that costs about $5 more and has a "nut" on top for very easy installation and removal. The Pro Series oil filter, like the one I ordered, does not work.
