Works as advertised for a 2003 Ford Focus. Remove the chip from the old key and install it in the new key. Works like a charm and saved $225 on a locksmith call after purchasing the part.

Perfect match for my 2001 Ford Focus. MUCH cheaper than any major auto parts store. Inserting and removing the key from the switch is not as smooth as I had hoped. But to be honest, this switch will probably outlive the machine itself.

I couldn't get the keys programmed by the dealer, luckily I found a lost old key that was programmed. I was able to attach the broken key to the ignition cylinder and using the key got the ignition to work. Ford's mechanic was shocked.
