PTC F244 Transmission Filter Kit Review

My new 2004 BMW X5 3.0 with 200,000 miles had very dirty transmission oil. My habit is to change all the fluids when you buy a car without service records. I first tried looking at the sample to see if there were any metallic flakes and I found no flakes, more like a black liquid. This filter fits 3.0 engines and GM transmissions, mine was made on 7/04 with a 17 hex fill plug and a T-40 drain plug.
