I've always used corkscrews with wings or bunnies, but I got tired of them breaking, so I decided to try the traditional one. I wish I had done this sooner because this one from Pulltex is reliable and easy to use. That's a great thing too! I'm not sure why I was so afraid to use this look. I think that's because in the past when I've tried this type of corkscrew they were made out of crappy plastic and didn't work very well. The Pulltex corkscrew is exactly what you need.

Don't worry about clumsy corkscrews that require a lever lock, fixed to a table or most importantly stored somewhere. All you need is a good quality 2 stage coulter and I recommend it. Obviously Pulltap is the right name, but I care less about the brand and more about the functionality. I've probably opened 2 wine cases with this bottle opener. It is durable, efficient, compact and efficient. If you like wine, buy it.

I came across this by accident in the restaurant where I work. I think this is the most user friendly tool a server can use. It has two stoppers so you can pull out the cork safely and easily. When performing in front of guests I am 100% sure the cork will come out without spilling as its design ensures a smooth opening. The small serrated blade is very versatile and can be used for cutting cork and opening boxes. Just a necessary thing for every person working in a restaurant.

I bought this corkscrew in 2018 as a Christmas present. Use on multiple bottles. While it still works pretty well, I'm much happier with the TrueTap corkscrew I bought at my local liquor store. It may not be an authentic item. I do not recommend this item as I can get TrueTap for the same price. I'm disappointed after reading the many reviews here and on other sites promoting the Pulltap corkscrew. So, again, I doubt this is a genuine article.

I love the two-stage pull mechanism. Makes cork pulling VERY easy, even synthetic corks that are notoriously difficult to pull out. I'm buying another one to give to a friend. UPDATE: I first checked this in April of this year and it's 6 months later. I still love this corkscrew.
