Not Worth the Hype: my feedback

When I tried this product, I found that it didn't live up to its promises. The substrate was difficult to clean and caused cloudy water in my aquarium.

Not so good for the money you pay

I actually bought this as a ground cover for a small garden. I wanted a light natural color, fine gravel, and everything I could find in pet stores was colored. I was disappointed to find that this "gravel" was larger than the pea size I buy at garden/hardware stores for a few bucks for a 20 pound bag. It is also quite dirty, so it needs to be washed well, whether you use it for decorative purposes or for the aquarium. Not very impressed.

Possibly Contaminated Product

I have recently purchased gravel from Purewater Pebbles, Amber Light and Caroline which are branded natural gravel. It arrived contaminated with wood and debris. These can be parasites such as nematodes, planarians, fungi and bacteria. It is their duty to filter it. I've never had this in all my years of farming fish with different brands. I have sent them many emails with no response. Now white dots hang on the glass. Could it be a planarian? Your defective product ruined my aquarium. Buyer…
