Easy to use, great for quick one-off apps

It's easy to use. I can easily build small applications quickly and it's pretty feature rich. The help files are not always clear enough, but that's probably just my lack of understanding. If you're looking for a beginner's environment to get your feet wet with this is definitely one to consider. I'm using it for a little project at work where we've written a lot of code in C++. We wanted to be able to have some of the more advanced features in C++ without having to switch environments each…

Pros
  • It's a lot easy to use and the help files are a lot more clear
Cons
  • I'm using it for a lot of the more beginner features

Very convenient programming environment

The most important thing is that it is free. I started using it because it is a very simple and straightforward language. It is easy to learn. There are no problems that I could come across. I think that it has a very small learning curve. It is very simple to program in. It is a very simple language and I think that it could be used by beginners as well as professionals. I have used this software in the past. I used it for a project. It is very easy to use, which is one of the main reasons…

Pros
  • Free
  • Straightforward syntax
  • Very fast compiler speed
Cons
  • Nothing really
  • This tool works fine

A great cross-platform alternative development environment

The fact that it's free, open source software! I have been using this for years now (since version 1) to create simple applications without having to pay ridiculous amounts of money or use proprietary frameworks like Adobe Air/Flash Builder etc - just straight up code in Basic and you're done! It has also made me realize how powerful an IDE can be when used correctly; my first few programs were very basic but after learning what could really go wrong with poor design decisions i've become much…

Pros
  • No strings attached !!! And best yet , its Open Source meaning anyone else will always get updates right along side us developers too :)..and if not they'll eventually build them themselves anyway : )....all thanks goes directly into our community support team who are super helpful whenever we need anything ;
Cons
  • Nothing here
