Review on PureBasic by Athenasby Whitney

The fact that it's free, open source software! I have been using this for years now (since version 1) to create simple applications without having to pay ridiculous amounts of money or use proprietary frameworks like Adobe Air/Flash Builder etc - just straight up code in Basic and you're done! It has also made me realize how powerful an IDE can be when used correctly; my first few programs were very basic but after learning what could really go wrong with poor design decisions i've become much more careful about making good choices myself. Nothing at all actually! This program does exactly as advertised so no complaints here either. Just pick your favorite editor / text processor then start coding away :).
