Works best in the cab Cabin Air Filter

This one was installed on my 18 MKZ. I followed the instructions but you need to be an acrobat to fit this in the filter slot behind the glove box. Filters are not to blame. it's just hard to do.

Fresh air: cabin filter

Installed last night and the air in my car already smells cleaner. Very easy to install. The glove box is not easy to take apart lol. I will buy again. Update, now my heater is humming, double checked everything is ok. I can't stand this extra noise. Replacement coming soon

A novice with no experience took 4 times longer than an experienced repairman on YouTube

Okay well I'm one of those guys who never worked on cars with my dad but I wish he had there when I changed my air filter. Now I'm sure I can do it again in half the time. I feel great. It took me 47 minutes. Bad: Random Guy on YouTube took 12 minutes. Ugly: The paper instructions that the filtered camera was almost useless because they had no pictures. This job is hard to imagine without experience.

Not worth the money or hassle if you're trying to filter out odors.

I bought this because diesel smoke, old car exhaust, chimneys and brush smoke give me a headache. I thought this was exactly what I was looking for, but it's not effective on any of the above to any significant extent. It was a waste of my time and money, after installing it I had to drive about 120 miles round trip and no more than five minutes on the road and the old 70's model pickup truck was in front of me, and the smell of burning gas and oil, which corresponds to the factory filterโ€ฆ
