I have no idea if this Friskies Meat and Gravy cat food is actually good for my cats, I just know that they love it and that I can stuff just as much other cat food that is good for them in Friskies, and that they tend to eat it too. In fact, I put a little less of the really good stuff in there and mix it up well and they'll eat it. Before that, they insisted on eating the pieces and then vomited. Kittech comes running as the lid opens; he loves it so much. For some reason he doesn't like canned pie, but he loves these canned foods with "crumbs". He gets two doses a day which I think makes him gain weight. This formula is for indoor cats, but I wouldn't call it a weight management formula, although it does help. I don't understand why some cat food gets bad reviews because the cat doesn't eat it. There are 7 of them at our country house, plus a few tramps who come to eat and although they can be picky they all basically eat what we give them when they are hungry. They are fed three times a day and canned food is the morning meal, so perhaps the lack of food between 6pm and 6am makes this quite attractive.
