Works great for my 2 cats!

I switched from Feline Fresh (which we loved) to this one to try it and see how it works. The pine smelled stronger because of the pine, this paper tablet has no smell at all until a cat pees in it. Despite this, the odor is not as strong as with pine pellets when cats urinate on them. I have 2 cats, 1 male, 1 female, 2 boxes in the house. Both take advantage of this penalty. There are no problems when switching. I switched from pine pellets to paper pellets because I have a dog that likes to…

DO NOT BUY the best of the litter

Terrible. Worst fountain pen ever. Non-clumping, wood-based litter at least controls urine odor, removes solids easily, and can be mixed to keep things fresh until it's time for a full replacement. It turns almost immediately into a wet, piss-stinking mass of horror. Cats HATE it because everything is wet with urine. Unfortunately, this was the only litter box my older cat could use and she started balancing on her side and urinating outside of the box. The first time I thought it was a…

I love yesterday's news. I'm a vet and all the hospitals I've worked at use it and my school uses it too. I like it better than clumping litter because I don't leave any residue in my bed or on the floor. It smells better too. This isn't up to every cat, as there are cats that prefer clumpy litter. In addition, more effort may be required to clean up urine-soaked bedding since it can be difficult to separate clean bedding from dirty bedding and avoid discarding clean bedding. But it doesn't…

Good for pet rats

I bought this unscented litter for my pet rat's bedding as I was allergic to Care Fresh Natural Paper litter and fleece litter smelled too bad. While she's not a big fan of it, it definitely helps curb the odor and keeps my office from smelling less like it has a rodent cage. The only criticism is that it is not 100% dust-free. Although the dust is less than paper sheets, it's still noticeable when I remove her cage. The granules disintegrate when wet. I have no idea how this would work for…
