💧 PuroSmart Countertop Water Treatment System Review

When I bought this unit I didn't realize it collects more water than it cleans but this is the cheapest reverse osmosis unit I could find.

Just picked for indoor growing. No problem testing at 15ppm. When not in use, it must be stored in the refrigerator. In addition, it wastes a lot of water compared to dispensing filtered water.

My purosmart RO system did not come with a diverter valve assembly or stand. Very disappointed as I can't mount it directly to my faucet and ordered because mounting as a countertop system was an option. Will likely return. Missing disclosures.

Beautiful worktop. Not difficult to install. If you need a faucet adapter, these are available in HD. Produces mildly alkaline water with 95% solids removal (according to my DS meter). fresh taste. Produces water at a better rate than advertised if you have good pressure.

Filter works great and produces great tasting water. Easily switch between filtered water and regular tap water with a small switch. Of the minuses - a worthless stand. The filter on top is heavy, and the base of the stand is not large enough, so the filter constantly (forever!) falls over on the counter.

When I bought the product I was happy to get a portable reverse osmosis system for less than $100. The only thing is that the description on the Revain website said it cleans 50 GPD when I started collecting the filter hose; According to the filter description, only 15 gallons are processed per day. I have returned the product but I think it may be an error on my part. I believe this is a great product.

This filter uses an excessive amount of water. I mean exaggerated. Sad design. I run the faucet for half a day just to fill a 5 gallon tank and the rest of the water goes down the drain. My housing office sent me a letter saying it's weird that you're drinking too much water this month. We need to check the pipes to make sure there are no leaks.
