This is my 3rd computer case shell. The first, I bought at the Apple store which lasted for 7 years. I replaced it with a cover that was purchased on line for the same price as this one, but was not durable at all and actually started to scratch my computer (defeating the purpose). This is the sixth cover that I've put on my MacBook, so I'm averaging about a year between self-destruct sequences. I don't know what initiates them, but the bottom sections have all split and fallen apart, even though I hardly ever move or travel with the MacBook. The lid sections hold up a lot better. This looks like the same plastic, but it fit perfectly (a couple of the others not so much), so I should probably buy spares and put them in a drawer before they stop making them.

Overall the product is super cute and made my old macbook feel new and cute again, however, I don't like how the top part of the case never seems securely and entirely fitted to my computer screen. Since I leave my laptop at home I don't have to move it around a lot or transport it so it does what I need it to do, which is essentially make it look cute, but this is not something I would trust for protection against dropping or any damages.

I've actually purchased 3 of these cases, however the other case I had for quite some time and it began to crack. I'm pretty rough on my computers, normally I just throw it into a bag so I was ok with the cracking, it was expected. I then purchased two more, one for my 15" and another for my 13.5" MacBook. They fit great and do not bring any additional heat to the laptop itself.

I initially had a clear "Speck" cover protecting my 15" late 2011-Macbook Pro, however, I could not find a replacement (possibly outdated), so I found the Ruban product. It is a great value and very similar function and has the key protection as an addition. The initial test fit is great! I am happy to have been able to find this product and with the fit and function!

I have my old MacBook pro 2009 and my old case broke. This one is perfect and I love the color. The price makes it worth the investment for my old computer to look nice.

I got this case yesterday and I was let down by the fitting. The case snap in but the right corner seems to not seal. My laptop has no corner bent so it was odd that it didn’t fully cover the other corner. The case seems like it was trimmed wrong. The quality seems good to me. Love the soft feel of the smoke color case. Doesn’t keep finger prints unless you have really greasy dirty fingers.

This case fits my Late 2011 15" MacBook pro perfectly. I didn't use the keyboard cover, but I would recommend to anyone looking for a great cover for your MacBook pro to purchase this product.

I've tried a few other cases and to be honest, the 15" 2012 Macbook Pro is heavy AF, so I'm used to the cases cracking a lot. This one has been rugged enough to handle the weight. so far. Of course, it will take some time to see how well it works out, but it's good for now. Feels sturdy and fits better than any other case I've used.

Looks good, fit is adequate, but the edges of base aren’t as smooth as the top. Couple rough spots, but the price is excellent for a good looking product.

This case is great for the price! It isn't opaque, so if you have any stickers on your macbook, you will be able to see them through the case. The case fit perfectly and I love the color! It was also nice getting a matching keyboard cover as well!

The product is sturdy fits well on a 2010 MacBook Pro. My only minor complaint is that when typing the palms of your hands hit the plastic edge so it’s a tiny bit uncomfortable. But for protection, and fashion I’m sure you can deal. Put down a little palm rest or something and you’ll be good.
