I love the balm but NOT this one.

Didn't fit me. It wrinkled even after wiping my eyelid and leaving it before applying eyeshadow. My eyeshadow spread all over the place and didn't stay. Cover FX is my favorite eyeshadow primer and it's talc free. I was disappointed.

  • Looks good

Stop searching, you've found the perfect primer.

Definitely the best eyeshadow primer for the price. I use Bare Minerals and I'm sick of paying fancy prices for tester size tubes of product so I've been experimenting with cheaper products to see what I can get. and overall it left everyone else in the dust. First of all, a ridiculously small amount goes a long way. I was skeptical at first because it felt so runny when applied, almost like a lotion. But the test of time has shown me that it holds eyeshadow (Bare Minerals Loose Powder) and…

Great for sensitive eyes

First of all, I have EXTREMELY sensitive eyes and in addition to watery eyes, puffiness and redness, milia sometimes appear on the skin around the eyes due to adverse foods. I've tried several other eye primers and all have produced a reaction. Next to. Put A Lid On It is non-irritating to the eyes and skin around them. That's great! However, the first few times I clearly used too much product because there were some wrinkles. I've reduced the amount (just a tiny bit - and I put it on before…

Ignore the bad reviews, only use a small amount!

Okay, I've read the bad reviews and I have to say something. All their complaints sound like they used too much product. This primer works really really well for me. I used too much initially and my eyelids were oily, the shadows didn't last long and they still clumped like all of their reviews. But then I dab a tiny dab in each eye, down to my browbones, and the eyeshadow I wear lasts over 12 hours! I'm a mom and I do my makeup around 7:30am before my daughter wakes up. It's already touching…

Balm is the bomb!

This material works very well. First I had to study a bit. I used way too much. A small line is enough and it works as if by magic. Thanks balm!

I am an elderly woman and I love this product.

I love this product. I'm 52 years old and starting to feel like I have lizard eyelids from droopy eyes. I could feel the loose lid sticking all day. Drop this onto my eyelids before eyeshadow and I have no issues and my makeup stays on all day.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Good but not great

Light sting. Doesn't even out skin tone compared to MAC Paint Pot

Doesn't cover or even out skin tone on eyelids compared to MAC Paint Pot. It really helps to keep the shadows longer and lighten. You need quite a bit, less than a BB ball. I found my eyelids had a slight tingling or burning sensation when applied, which went away after a few minutes. All in all a good option that is easy to use and works well.

  • Nice

It still rolls!: Eyeshadow bases and primers

I have oily eyelids with droopy lids. I've been looking for an eye primer since my favorite primer was discontinued. This one isn't "the same" either. Unfortunately it was expensive. It's easy to apply, but looks very greasy. I was impressed the first day of use. BUT since then it has failed me every day. Eye shadow forms strong wrinkles after 4-5 hours. I think it's better than nothing but I still feel like I wasted my money.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Seriously, the best foundation I've tried and I've tried a lot.

Seriously the best primer I've tried and I've tried a lot. Apply seconds and eye shadow to it - and wow, it lasts! I have to work hard to get it off, even the loose mineral pigments (they seem to slip and disappear on their own pretty quickly unless there's a good primer underneath).

Pros
  • Brilliantly done
Cons
  • Not a car
