It works quite well with a USB stick, but you can't plug it directly into your computer without a lot of hassle. It's also a bit dark here, you have to turn off all the lights in the room to see the pictures.

It's a range to be honest the max you can get out and still be observable is 3 feet. You might look elsewhere because it's poorly made, doesn't come with a controller (although it is in the picture) and worst of all, the overall size of my hand is terrible. We have done our homework to make sure it is what we want but it is not what we expected based on the description. The dimensions described as 12.7" x 5.6" x 12.6" look like inches but are actually centimeters! (That's about the size of your hand.) We even measured our space to make sure that it meets our needs and a shelf built specifically for the projector (at the distance described) but it does not focus well at every distance or produce the size of the image described.
