My main complaint is that the night vision stopped working after about 3 months. The camera delivers a washed-out, discolored image. During the day, the camera view is decent. I think I should have read the reviews. Several others have reported the same problem.

This camera appears to have been developed for the Mini Cooper. The RCA cable is only 15 feet long. When I finally spent the money on the right length of cable, the camera didn't work at all. Extremely disappointed, but that's what you get with a $10 camera. will return it

I use this camera as a replacement for the stock Polaris Slingshot camera. The OEM cam does not work well with some aftermarket radios. This device fits the OEM mount very well. Easy to splice and replace the connector, and when it plugs directly into the OEM wiring harness, a seamless swap is possible.

Much smaller than I expected and I love it. The clip is designed to snap no more than 1/8 inch. My bumper was 1/4" diamond plate so I ripped out the clip and secured it with silicone. The little cheap hole saw that comes with it ate it up in about 2 minutes! Took about 1/2 can of PB Blaster lube on it all the time lol

It's attached to the frame of the trunk handle. The cables/connectors are not long enough to run to the radio on my '04 Avalanche and had to order additional cables. The hole saw is cheap and the hole required some sanding to make it big enough to fit really tight. In general, I'm somehow almost not very conspicuous for such a price.

I have to give this unit 5 stars. No problem. I've had it installed for almost a year now and even though I wash my car every week it still works. The unit has a nice touch to complete it even in the plastic bumper and the cord is long enough to go from the back of my van to the front of the radio eliminating the need for a radio control transmitter. It also has green/yellow/red lines to help you increase your backward distance.

Before disassembling parts of my car, I decided to plug it in at my stand using a 12V DC power adapter and an old monitor, just to be safe. Very glad I did. It's a simple setup, just two power cables, one black and one red, plus a yellow RCA video cable. Pretty easy and reliable. I used force and nothing. Double checked that everything is connected correctly and firmly. It was. Item was dead on arrival. I returned the product and they sent me a replacement. I hope I have better luck next time…

The camera itself looks great. Night vision is good too and the backup lines look nice. Also, it's SMALL (which is good for a low profile appearance), which is hard to tell from the picture. I had imagined it to be much larger, but was pleasantly surprised. The only point of criticism is the flush mounting. What another reviewer said about the undersized drill bit is correct.
