This won't be a backyard boom. The radio worked and had decent reception. Good performance, loud enough to rock a room. There's no shuffle/shuffle and the equalizer doesn't work on the radio, but I doubt you can find a better $35 Bluetooth speaker that's stereo.

sound quality? For the price, it's not bad in terms of clarity at volume. Bass? This is a 3 inch subwoofer so I'm not expecting much. However, it doesn't seriously produce anything. Zip pshik nada. If you want a good speaker and you don't have any expectations, that's fine. But if you like the presence of drums in your music, go ahead.

I have just received my Pyle speaker, I think it is very good quality and solid. The sound is still great, blue-toothed to my Alexa as I struggled to understand her. We'll see how this all works. while I'm impressed. Follow-up report from 09/07/21, I am still enthusiastic about the loudspeaker. I was able to use Bluetooth with Alexa and had no issues disconnecting. This makes Alexa much easier to understand and greatly improves the audio quality for music.

The speaker is larger than many portable Bluetooth devices. It's not cute, but I was drawn to the 50-watt power. This is my third day of casual use on 1 charge and I am pleased with the Pyle's ability to sound good in an open plan living room, bedroom or garage. I had a pair of smaller Bluetooth speakers. The quality of this PYLE speaker is acceptable for the price. Don't expect BOSE sound from a $30 speaker.
