Pyle Professional Connectivity Microphone PTAUWIFI46 Review

This thing almost burned my house down! Used only once. Connected in the electronics room. Very cool room. Nothing on it next to the block. All alone on the shelf. I smelled burning and smoke from the room. The device was too hot to touch. Disconnected from the network filter. The fuse is not blown. Dangerous item! Do not buy!

Works well for the price, gets very hot (really needs an internal fan), don't put it in a cabinet. Lost left channel on Aux2. Everything else works fine. Wouldn't buy it again most of the time though as it's very hot. A remote control would be nice. I will order something else, buy some speakers and let my wife use them in the bedroom. Would give 3 STARS except for Aux2 failure.

The product works great. You can add a microphone, an MP3 player, or an external speaker. You can stream music from your phone over Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Wired with Ethernet gives you the best option. The app works but has limited features. You can create a playlist or just play the entire collection. You can list internet radio. The WiFi connection works but is not that reliable. I took one star because of the WiFi and the app.

This device was very valuable but I kept factory resetting it. Antenna reception was very poor even with a strong signal in the 2.4 GHz band. Lots of disconnects and poor volume control through the app. The software offers a firmware update, but that also failed. Judging by the web interface, the device's software is 4+ years older. This can be the cause of many problems. When it worked, the sound quality and power output were good.

Don't waste your money on this product if all you need is a stove with an amplifier. It does its job well, but as a WiFi-enabled product, it's useless. The application you are using is bad software as is Pyle's manual. Also, the alignment marks on most buttons are misaligned, making it hard to tell where they're pointing. To be honest it does a great job of controlling my Bose speaker system but forgets any control via the app which also seems to override IHeart Radio's control.

This little wifi and bluetooth booster is exactly what I was looking for. I took it out and tried screwing my XM player to it and then to the splitter that connected to the speakers in different rooms. First, both RCA inputs became static. Tried changing cables and the same static. There was no hissing with the old amp. So I started using Bluetooth instead, which worked great. Then a few weeks later it kicked in and NOTHING. I changed the fuse and sockets and he's a brick. Disappointing…

After I received the Pyle wifi stereo booster everything worked perfectly. But after a week it just stopped working. It turns on but no sound comes out of the speakers at all. When first installing, the bluetooth option was great and let me know if it worked. For no reason it doesn't tell me BT is on, connected, disconnected. Nothing. The MP3 connection was great, but now I can't use it. The AUX connections also do not let any sound through. Maybe my device is defective or simply overheated…
