It looks like an old phone but you will never find a phone that looks like it is from the old days. Hand cranks were much earlier than the rotating system, the bells used for ringers in that era had a bell that moved back and forth while this one has bells, it didn't add the bell part that all actually have the general appearance of the phone. It has a keyhole which I didn't understand, it's just nailed to the front of the phone and hasn't been cut or at least blackened to give the appearance…

Great product. Works well and the deco looks really cool. Good to know: The hand crank is mainly used for show. It spins and makes a faint noise, but nothing significant. Installation is pretty easy if you're installing on a stud. There is a screw slot (included) on the back of the device. It didn't work for me, so I took the screw to Home Depot and got $1.69 for a box of metal wall anchors. It's really easy to install wall anchors.
