You idiots complaining about a broken ethernet port have no idea how this works. #1, if you're not an electrician, don't play with him, hire him. Ethernet ports #2 are for communication between two powered devices installed in the same box or 100 feet apart. #3 Don't install it in the same box as the house wiring. This is a low voltage device. High voltage and low voltage should be in separate boxes.

Bluetooth stopped working some time after installation. The device continues to connect to your phone or tablet, but you hear no sound. The AUX port works fine but the Bluetooth module, the whole reason for the purchase, has stopped working. I've tried many things to troubleshoot but to no avail. Overall the device showed promise, with easy installation and fairly good sound quality for the price.

Worked great for 6 weeks and then just stopped working. I emailed Pyle tech support and customer service and after a few days and a few emails from me they finally replied and gave me troubleshooting tips that I had already tried (I already mentioned in my email Mail what I was trying to fix). You obviously haven't read any of my emails! Since then I have replied several times but no one has gotten back to me. terrible customer service and product!

I use this control for audio in my kitchen. I have a volume control under one of my kitchen cabinets which then plugs into an RCA/power jack next to the receiver that feeds my speakers. The volume control and the RCA units are connected via an Ethernet cable (RJ-45 jacks). Bluetooth connects great. Great little device. An unreported feature is that the USB port is always on. I have this in my home gym with a small Android tablet in a stand on the wall next to it. This will keep this tablet charged even when it is off. The only downside is that it's better to connect the device when it's disconnected from the amplifier, because when it's off, the noise filters on the cables are also disabled, so you'll hear a popping/humming noise when the device is charging. The product idea is great but the hiss and hum from the speakers when bluetooth is on is real and annoying. I've debugged every part of my system and I can definitely isolate the hum from the bluetooth connection. I've tried multiple Bluetooth devices with the same effect each time. It is a pity that the best components are not used in this device to prevent these interferences. Otherwise the product would be great.
