Useful Excellence.

This is Pyrex 6 oz. Dessert dishes are as expected. Just the right size for small desserts, warm portions of vegetables and small leftovers for our family of 2. I inherited a set of 8 ounce Pyrex dessert bowls from my mother 35 years ago. It's the perfect replacement for those that have been breaking for decades.

Adorable appetizer cups :-)

And great for quick microwave egg omelettes! 1. Spray on a cup of PAM. Mix (conveniently a separate larger bowl) a teaspoon of water or milk with scrambled eggs to which you've added some grated cheese and possibly pieces of finely chopped veggies (onions, tomatoes, broccoli, spinach, etc.) and your seasonings, then firm in Cover kitchen paper. Microwave for 1 min. If cooking 2 eggs per person, use 2 cups and cook both at the same time for 2 minutes.

Cons
  • Nothing here

Had this set as a kid. Before there were microwave ovens, my father would heat a deep frying pan with water, crack eggs into a bowl of custard, and put them in the water to "boil." Voila, an egg in a jar. Use pudding cups for this, only 50 seconds in the microwave. These are great multifunctional bowls. We use them to prep ingredients for cooking and baking, reheat sauces, boil eggs and anything that requires a small, heatproof bowl.

Exactly what I needed. I have a very nice set of Crate and Barrel pudding cups and ended up using them as snacks for my kids on numerous occasions, which of course resulted in one of my cups getting lost and one or two being chipped. I'm very against plastic in the dishwasher because it never dries properly, so I buy glass for my kids too (except cups, too much responsibility :). These Pyrex pudding cups are great value, look great, are the perfect size and are built to last. They endure the…

I ordered these to replenish my existing stock of teacups which I use all the time. They are of typical Pyrex quality. My only complaint is that the 6 ounce mugs don't have lids! I hate using plastic wrap to cover them in the fridge, both because it's a waste of plastic wrap and because the plastic wrap doesn't allow cups to be stacked on top of each other in the fridge. The 1 cup glass jar lids fit my old 6 oz pudding cups well, but they are too small for these new 6 oz vanilla cups which are…
