🍲 Pyrex Basics 2-quart Rectangular Dish with Red Lid Review

The dishes are excellent, the lid broke the first time you put it on after washing your hands. I have two other old Pyrex casserole dishes with a different style of lid and they still work well without cracking after 10 years of use and storage. Be careful with new products.

Looks very sturdy and useful for carrying groceries to family gatherings. I would have preferred a smaller size, say 1 1/2 liters for freezing half a double entree for two. Guess the photo and the quick size check fool me about the size.

Any size of any literature you advertise on this product is false. I bought this bowl to use in a specific toaster according to the dimensions given. She is at least 2 inches taller and not nearly as tall. very disappointed. do not believe what Pyrex writes.

I ordered two of these and both were replacements for the product I indicated in the photo. The product listed is for use in convection and toaster ovens and will fit (I already have one). This product is NOT suitable for toaster or convection ovens and is significantly longer than the product shown.

I specifically ordered this bowl because the picture showed a bowl with the same lid as the one I already had. My old dish lid fell apart and I figured I could use the new lid on both products. Apparently Pyrex no longer makes this style and this has replaced it. I like the new design plate and enjoy using it, but the image shown should reflect the new design, not the old one.
